द्वा सुपर्णा सयुजा सखाया समानं वृक्षं परिषस्वजाते |
तयोरन्यः पिप्पलं स्वाद्वत्त्यनश्नन्नन्यो अभिचाकशीति ||४.६||

Two birds, companions always united, cling to the same tree. One eats the sweet fruit; the other, not eating, simply watches.

त्वमग्निस्त्वं वायुस्त्वं सूर्यस्त्वं वासव | त्वं देवा सर्वे त्वं महाभूतानि | त्वं स्त्री त्वं पुमानसि त्वं कुमार उत वा कुमारी ||४.३||
