Adhyaya 9 - Somayaga - Part 3 (Midday Pressing)

This Adhyaya describes the midday pressing (Madhyandina Savana) of the Soma sacrifice. More elaborate than the morning pressing, this session includes the Stotras (praises) and Shastras (recitations) by the Hotri priests. The offerings at this pressing are particularly directed to the Maruts and the Visvedevas, alongside the primary offering to Indra.
