Adhyaya 8 - Somayaga - Part 2 (Pressing and Offering)

The eighth Adhyaya describes the morning pressing (Pratah Savana) of Soma, the primary offering of the Somayaga. It includes the mantras for pressing the Soma stalks, the purification of the Soma juice through the woolen filter, the mixing with other ingredients, and the offering to the gods, particularly Indra who is the chief recipient of Soma.
