Adhyaya 13 - Rajasuya (Royal Consecration) - Part 1
The Rajasuya is one of the most important royal ceremonies in Vedic tradition. This Adhyaya begins its description with the preliminary rites: the king's bathing ceremony (Abhisheka), the offering of gifts to the priests, and the symbolic journey of the king across the cardinal directions. The mantras invoke the gods to bestow sovereignty, strength, and prosperity upon the king.
