Adhyaya 4 - Agnihotra (Daily Fire Oblation)

The fourth Adhyaya details the Agnihotra ritual — the daily morning and evening oblations of milk into the sacred fire. It contains the mantras for the offerings, the procedures for handling the fire, and the accompanying meditations. The Agnihotra is the most basic and essential of the daily Vedic rituals, representing the householder's continuous connection with the divine.
