Adhyaya 24 - Ashvamedha - Part 3

The twenty-fourth Adhyaya concludes the Ashvamedha with the concluding rites: the distribution of dakshina (gifts) to the priests, the purification of the participants, and the final homa (offering). The Ashvamedha is said to confer universal sovereignty (sarvabhauma) upon the king who performs it successfully.
